Automation of fire doors APPV2X150

The device provides power and holding active magnet or magnets that hold the fire door open when there is no danger of spreading fire. When such a hazard is detected, the automatics interrupt the magnet supply and the door closes due to the closing force.

There are several reasons why automation can trigger door closing:

  • Smoke detector design
  • signal from the fire alarm panel
  • activation of the button in the immediate vicinity of the fire door
  • activation of the RESET button on the device itself
  • a malfunction or interference that impedes the automatic operation of the automatics.

The device has built-in light and sound signaling of the condition in which it is located:

Normal operation: The green indicator light next to "RAD" is illuminated, there is no audible signal

Malfunction: yellow amber light next to "Malfunction", short beep every 4 seconds

Alarm: The red signal light next to "ALARM" lights up, a short beep sounds every second

Once the cause of the interference / fault condition or alarm has been eliminated, the unit can return to normal operation by pressing the RESET button on the unit itself.
